What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run this site. We do not use third-party trackers, advertising networks, or analytics services that profile you across the web.

Cookies

Theme preference — stores your light/dark mode choice. No personal data.
Admin session — JWT-based authentication cookies for editors only. Not set for readers.
CSRF token — protects form submissions from cross-site attacks.
Analytics session ID — a random, non-identifying token used to count unique page views. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Analytics

We record page views with a hashed, truncated version of your IP address. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you. We do not track you across sessions or share analytics data with anyone.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and a hashed version of your IP at the time of signup (for abuse prevention). We never share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Data retention

Analytics data is aggregated and individual session records are deleted after 90 days. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Admin session tokens expire automatically (15 minutes for access, 14 days for refresh).

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we collect almost nothing, there's usually nothing to delete — but if you have concerns, email us and we'll help.
